Terms of Use for Odyssey: AI Storyteller & RPG

This Agreement (“Terms”) is between you (“User”) and Mert Polat (“Developer”), the creator and operator of Odyssey: AI Storyteller & RPG. These Terms govern your access to and use of the Odyssey: AI Storyteller & RPG mobile application, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through it (the “Application”).

By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Application. For the iOS version, your license scope and usage rules are governed by Apple’s Standard EULA and Apple Media Services Usage Rules.

0. RELATIONSHIP TO APPLE STANDARD EULA (PRECEDENCE)

These Terms complement Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). For license scope and usage rules, the Apple Standard EULA and Apple Media Services Usage Rules control in case of any conflict with these Terms.

1. WHO MAY USE THE APPLICATION

There is no specific age restriction for using the Application; however, you must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. If you are under the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction (or under 13, or another threshold required by local law), you must obtain parental or guardian consent before using features that involve User-Generated Content (UGC) or online interactions.

2. USER ACCOUNTS

To access certain features, you may need to create an account (“Account”). You can create an Account using your email address, or through third-party services such as Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your Account and for keeping your credentials confidential. Deleted accounts and associated content may not be recoverable. If you suspect unauthorized access or a security breach, you must notify us at [email protected] without undue delay. You must keep your contact information up to date for notices.

3. THE APPLICATION AND SERVICES

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Content. A significant portion of the narrative, dialogue, and other content within the Application is generated by third-party artificial intelligence models (“AI Content”). You acknowledge that AI Content is probabilistic and may be unpredictable, inaccurate, or occasionally offensive. The Developer makes no warranties regarding AI Content and disclaims all liability for any harm or damage arising from your interaction with it.
Third-Party AI Data Use. By using the Application, you acknowledge that the prompts and inputs you provide may be processed by our third-party AI service providers (such as OpenAI, Google, Mistral) and may be used by them to improve their services, in accordance with their respective privacy policies and terms.

3.1 PLATFORM TERMS (iOS)

Your license to use the iOS version of the Application is granted under Apple’s Standard EULA and is subject to the Apple Media Services Usage Rules. If anything in these Terms appears inconsistent with Apple’s Standard EULA regarding license scope or usage rules, Apple’s terms prevail.

4. USER-GENERATED CONTENT (UGC)

4.1 Definition & Scope

The Application allows you to create, write, submit, and share your own stories, characters, scenarios, and related content (“UGC”). By submitting UGC you acknowledge that it may be viewed, accessed, or played by other users of the Application.
